I

I love everything about the photography community and the beautiful people that I’ve met along the way that have blossomed into amazing friendships. When I came down to California for the Winter for a much needed sabbatical, Jesus “Chuy” Rodriguez reached out asking if he could join me on a few shoots and learn along the way. After a few years in the industry, I’ve had some truly amazing mentors take me under their wing and teach me the ropes about this crazy industry and I consider myself immensely blessed under their tutelage. Given the opportunity to pay it forward, I was thrilled!

Then I met Chuy’s beautifully little family; Michelle and Noah. I just knew we were going to have to get together for a quick photo session. We bonded over our love of Spanish music (see below!) and enjoyed a perfect California sunset at the Venice Canals.

I’m stoked to say that Chuy will be joining me as a second shooter for California weddings and make sure you check out his work at Chuy Photography!
