Elder Hall Wedding

I was very excited when Carrie reached out to me and let me know she and Nick were planning their wedding at Elder Hall, but I might be a little biased. Elder Hall is attached to Ned Ludd, which is hands down my favorite restaurant in Portland. And anything that means I get to have dinner there makes me pretty excited!

Their Story

Nine years ago Carrie moved from Texas to LA into a house with 6 other people. They met through mutual friends as Nick as good friends with many of them. Carrie and Nick together are homebodies and say that some of their favorite memories together is when the two of them are at home, just being lazy and goofy. They simply enjoy each other’s company. Carrie says that there wasn’t a specific moment when she realized Nick was the one, but rather a series of events. She was sick a lot early on in their relationship and he took such amazing care of her throughout it all. She didn’t think it was possible for one person to care  for another person in such a way and he really left an impression on her. She soon realized how special he was.
