Escape to Another Planet: A Moroccan-Inspired Elopement at White Sands with a Camel

As the sun set over the White Sands National Monument, the sky was painted in soft shades of pink and orange, a result of the nearby wildfire. The stark landscape, reminiscent of something out of a Star Wars movie, served as the perfect backdrop for an intimate and romantic Moroccan-inspired elopement.

The neutral bohemian palette of soft pink, burgundy, creams, and golds added to the desert vibe, and the camel companion only further enhanced the atmosphere. The bride, stunning in a lace inlet wedding gown, and the groom, dashing in black pants and a burgundy blazer, popped against the stark landscape.

As the photographer, I was in awe of the beautiful blend of Moroccan, bohemian, and elegant aesthetics present at the elopement. It was a truly special and unique setting for the couple to exchange their vows.

I was reminded of the beauty and intimacy of elopements as I captured the love and emotion of the couple amidst the sand dunes. There is something so special about being able to celebrate love in a setting that is meaningful and personal to the couple.

I am grateful to have been a part of this Moroccan-inspired elopement at White Sands National Monument, and I know the couple will always look back on this day with awe and gratitude. It was a truly unforgettable and romantic experience.
