Troutdale House by the Sandy River Wedding |Samantha & Franciso

Their story:

  • How did you two meet?

We met on Tinder but we didn’t really meet in person until 2 months after we matched. We were both involved in some pretty crappy relationships during that time and almost cancelled on each other the day we agreed to meet for coffee. Lucky for us, we didn’t bail!

What's your favorite memory of each other?

Fran – the first time we built furniture together, well I built it and she handed me stuff 🙂 Sam – moving across the country and the conversations in different cars (we had to drive separately) about podcasts we were both listening to. We both also love and cherish our first date, it’s the best one we both ever had!

When did you know they were the ONE?

I knew Fran was the one the first time he met our dog and Toby decided to adopt him as his forever paw paw. I knew Sam was the one on the drive back from our first date.

    How did your fiancé propose?

Fran proposed on our first anniversary when we recreated our first date 🙂 He took me for a walk in the park and got down on one knee and proposed with a ring he made himself. It was one of the most magical moments of my life.

What are you looking forward to most for your wedding day?

Celebrating our love and getting to call him my HUSBAND!!

Their words:

“From the moment we first met Marcela we knew she was “our person.” She is one of the the most genuine, down-to-earth humans I have ever met, and what an amazing talent! I was drawn to her photos the moment we saw her website and as soon as we sat down to have a beer and chat, we were sold! She was truly interested in learning about our story and who we were as a couple before we even discussed any sort of business. She is in love with love and it really shows in her work. On top of it she is very professional and communicative, and she was very understanding of our needs. She was kind enough to send us previous the morning after our wedding! Neither of us are super comfortable in front of the camera, but she made us feel like we had been doing this for a while all while laughing and having a good time. She is the best at capturing raw emotion and making people radiate from the inside out. We could not recommend her more; as of now we are looking for other excuses to book her and get to work with her. If you are looking for someone to capture your day, stop looking and lock Marcela down ASAP.”
