Intimate French Country Cottage Wedding in Lakewood

The way that Amanda and Paris met was by total happenstance. Amanda was sitting in the bleachers of some game when a gentleman accidentally made her spill her fries, so naturally she was bummed. But then the gentleman’s son came up and her anger and disappointment turned into intrigue; she was instantly smitten and intrigued by this stranger! They didn’t get the opportunity to chat and get to know each other this time though. Their meetcute came about in a much more modern way when days later Amanda was swiping on Tinder and came across her mysterious stranger! They both swiped right and the rest is as they say, history.

Being able to photograph Amanda and Paris has been an absolute treat from the very beginning! Right away I knew we would become close friends. You’ll see a lot of them in my work and there’s a reason for that: we did their engagement session on Mt Rainier, a gender reveal on the Oregon Coast, then we had a Parisian themed picnic at Cathedral Park as a cute little family session. One of my favorite tidbits about them is that Amanda has the Eiffel Tower tattooed on her sternum to commemorate her love for Paris. Their wedding was postponed due to COVID and was downsized for the same reason, but what came together was the picture perfect fairytale beginning to the rest of their lives. Amanda and Paris put together the sweetest intimate French Country Cottage wedding in Lakewood, Washington with their closest friends and family.
