Outrigger Fiji Wedding with Fire Dancers

Jimmy and Lyndsay knew they didn’t want to do things quite so traditional. These two adventurous souls were engaged in during a trip in Thailand, so just a normal wedding back home wasn’t going to cut it. The question was: where to?

Somewhere along the way they decided a Fiji wedding was the way to go! A tropical setting on the other side of the planet with their closest friends and family… and what a beautiful family and community these two have, when 60 people make it out to your destination wedding then you know it’s a party! But the real party didn’t start until the fire dancers came out, much to everyone’s surprise.

We took portraits around sunset at the beach and suddenly the wind picked up and nearly knocked me over. I was just thinking how strange that was when our helper from the resort yelled out, “TAKE COVER!” and a torrential downpour started! Lyndsay, worried about her hair and makeup, immediately took off for shade. Jimmy on the other hand, stood back for a little bit. It was eighty degrees with 80% humidity and we were all drenched in sweat, but Jimmy at this point looked over at me with a huge grin on his face and said, “This is the coolest I’ve felt since we got here, this is awesome!”
